Genius is discovering something that has always been there. The simplest ideas are the best but it takes a genius to think of them.
These phrases spring to mind when you look at Townshend’s Rock 7 Turntable. First Impressions are also important. My first impression on listening to the Beatles newly remastered vinyl was that the natural beauty and realism in the vocals and harmonies were the best I had heard in forty years. The sound stage and headroom
seemed to go on to infinity. There was also detail and information I had never heard before. This leads me to conclude Townshend Rock 7’s engineering and design is
a work of genius.
